The band is a cast of characters from all over the country. Individually, they have a wide range of interests and career paths, from an author, to a radio personality, to a corporate tax expert. They each have music careers spanning more than 3 decades, and an unbridled love for the Rolling Stones.
Marc Lichtenfeld – Lead Vocals
Marc is thrilled to be playing Mick Jagger in Start Me Up!
He formerly played Mick in Sticky Fingers in the northeast and in Tumblin’ Dice in San Francisco. He also sang in San Francisco’s ‘80s tribute Like, Totally! and with Grammy nominated guitarist Gil Parris.
A former actor, Marc appeared on stage in New York and San Francisco in shows including: Slasher, the Splatter Rock Musical and the stage premier of Last Exit to Brooklyn. When not performing as the world’s greatest rock singer, Marc is a two time best selling author and the only Mick Jagger impersonator to ring announce world championship boxing and MMA matches on ESPN, HBO and Showtime.

Ron Hersey – Guitar & Vocals
Hersey appears as Ron Wood in Start Me Up!
A Florida native, Ron credits his parents, who were gospel singers, for his love of music. His father, a guitarist, showed him how to play and his mother taught him to harmonize. Hersey began singing in the church choir at an early age.
It wasn’t long before Rock and Roll beckoned and at fifteen Ron began performing live in his own band. Over the years, Hersey has shared the stage with many popular recording artist including; Toby Keith, Three Dog Night, Chuck Berry, Little Richard and many others.
Ron is also a long time South Florida radio personality and a sought after voiceover artist. He can be heard on many national Radio and TV commercials plus several audiobooks.
Scott Borgmeyer- Bass
Appearing as bassist Bill Wyman, Scott is a South Florida Native who began taking piano lessons at the age of 5. After dabbling with the piano, drums and lead guitar, Scott realized he has “sausage fingers”, and was better suited for the bass guitar.
By the age of 14, Scott was already performing with a band playing rock, disco and Top 40 hits. By the Summer of his junior year in high school, he was performing in night clubs six days a week. Looking back, Scott wonders how he managed to pull this off with such conservative parents!
After high school, for many years, Scott primarily focused on his career in Corporate Finance, but ultimately returned to his passion of playing music at events and night clubs with several top South Florida bands. “The Rolling Stones are one of my favorite bands and I’m super excited to be playing along side such a tremendous assemblage of musicians and singers”!
Mike McCurdy – Keyboards & Vocals
Mike McCurdy, a.k.a. “Irishmac”, brings his Irish roots to Start Me Up! Behind his keyboards for over 40 years, Mike was born in Washington D.C. where he was kidnapped at a young age by rogue Leprechauns belonging to a religious sect built around R&B music and Rock and Roll. Raised in an Irish Pub he spent his days listening to B.B., Otis, Chuck Berry, Sam and Dave, and a host of others. His nights were dedicated to honing his skills and paying his heroes the homage they were due. He kept himself fed and in vinyl playing throughout the Metro D.C. and Baltimore areas with many successful bands including “Reflections”, “Rainbow”, “Rio”, “Goldrush”, and “Superstition”.
Since moving to South Florida in 1985 he has continued to provide his unique style of driving R&B keyboards for “Twin Ticket”, “Business As Usual”, “The Lu White Band”, “Johnny Lyles Jr.”, “Edj”, “Nightwatch”, “Flashback”, “Back In Time”, “Wild Gumbo”, “Fatt Soop”, “Moonlight Thief” and “Jeremy’s Way” . Now his keyboards are part of the driving sound of this rockin tribute show, adding the R&B influence that birthed Rock and Roll, and the music of the Rolling Stones.
Sean Leahy – Sax & Hand Percussion
Composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist, Sean Leahy is a recent addition to Start Me Up! Sean has been performing professionally for over 30 years, and has performed every style you can probably think of, from Zydeco to Gamelan. (OK, he hasn’t played Gamelan yet, but he’s looking for the opportunity!) Sean has a degree in Jazz music, but is excited to get back to his roots in Rock and Pop music. And the late, great Bobby Keys is providing plenty of inspiration!
